Rochester Dickensian Christmas Festival: Sunday 8th December

Rochester Dickensian Christmas Festival: Sunday 8^th December 2024. A Christmas experience in the heart of the land of Dickens. Members of The Dickens Fellowship, The City of Rochester Society, and many other’s join in and dress up in Victorian costume and parade the streets of Rochester and the Castle gardens. Events include music by hand bell ringers and the Choir of Rochester Cathedral, a craft fair, ice skating, and the opportunity to sample a wide variety of traditional cooking. In the evening there is the ‘Candlelit Parade’ through the High Street with the Dickens Fellowship proceeding through the High Street holding their candlelit lanterns, it’s a spectacle not to be missed (Parades to be confirmed). Price £24.00 per person, coach will depart Stevenage at 09.30.
